Caramel Apple Cheesecake Trifle blends layers of creamy cheesecake filling, spiced apples, and buttery pound cake with rich caramel sauce. This no-bake dessert delivers cozy fall flavor in every bite.
Ingredients
2 cups diced apples (Granny Smith or Honeycrisp)
1 tablespoon butter
1 tablespoon brown sugar
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
8 oz cream cheese, softened
1/3 cup powdered sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 1/2 cups whipped topping (or whipped cream)
2 cups cubed pound cake or angel food cake
1/3 cup caramel sauce (plus more for drizzling)
Instructions
1. Melt butter in a skillet over medium heat. Add apples, brown sugar, and cinnamon.
2. Sauté apples for 5–7 minutes until tender. Let cool.
3. In a bowl, beat cream cheese until smooth. Add powdered sugar and vanilla; mix until creamy.
4. Fold in whipped topping to form a light cheesecake filling.
5. In trifle glasses or a large trifle dish, layer cubed cake, cheesecake filling, caramel sauce, and sautéed apples.
6. Repeat layers until filled.
7. Drizzle more caramel on top and chill at least 1 hour before serving.
Notes
Use gingersnaps or cinnamon cookies instead of cake for added crunch.
Make individual servings in mason jars for easy presentation.
Add chopped pecans or walnuts for extra texture.
