Description
Fried Ravioli delivers golden, crispy perfection in every bite. This appetizer or snack combines tender pasta pillows with a crunchy coating and a warm marinara dip for a true Italian-inspired treat.
Ingredients
1 package refrigerated cheese ravioli (about 20 pieces)
2 large eggs
1/4 cup milk
1 cup Italian-style breadcrumbs
1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
Vegetable oil for frying
1/2 tsp garlic powder
Salt and pepper to taste
Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)
Warm marinara sauce for dipping
Instructions
1. Bring a pot of salted water to a boil and cook ravioli for 2–3 minutes until just tender. Drain and pat dry.
2. In a bowl, whisk eggs and milk together.
3. In another bowl, mix breadcrumbs, Parmesan, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
4. Dip each ravioli in egg mixture, then coat in breadcrumb mixture.
5. Heat oil in a deep skillet or saucepan to 350°F (175°C).
6. Fry ravioli in batches for 1–2 minutes per side or until golden and crispy.
7. Drain on paper towels.
8. Garnish with parsley and serve hot with marinara sauce.
Notes
For a baked version, place coated ravioli on a parchment-lined baking sheet, spray with oil, and bake at 400°F for 15–20 minutes.
Try meat or spinach ravioli for variety.
Add crushed red pepper to the breadcrumbs for a spicy kick.
