Ingredients
1 lb ground chicken
1/4 cup red onion, finely chopped
2 cloves garlic, minced
2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
1 teaspoon dried oregano
1/2 teaspoon ground cumin
Salt and pepper to taste
4 whole wheat burger buns
1/2 cup tzatziki sauce
Lettuce leaves
Sliced tomatoes
Sliced red onions
Instructions
1. In a bowl, mix ground chicken, red onion, garlic, parsley, oregano, cumin, salt, and pepper.
2. Form mixture into 4 equal patties.
3. Preheat grill or skillet over medium heat.
4. Cook patties for 5-6 minutes per side until fully cooked.
5. Toast burger buns lightly on grill or skillet.
6. Assemble burgers by spreading tzatziki on buns, adding patties, lettuce, tomato, and red onion slices.
7. Serve immediately.
Notes
For extra flavor, add crumbled feta cheese to the patties.
Use fresh herbs for best taste.
