Instructions

Mix Dry Ingredients:
In a large bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, sugar, and salt. -
Add Wet Ingredients:
Make a well in the center and add milk, egg, melted butter, and vanilla (if using). Mix just until combined—don’t overmix. -
Cook Pancakes:
Heat a non-stick skillet or griddle over medium heat. Lightly grease with butter or oil. Pour ¼ cup batter per pancake. Cook until bubbles form on the surface and edges look set, then flip and cook another 1–2 minutes. -
Serve:
Serve warm with butter, syrup, fresh fruit, or your favorite toppings.
