Description
No Bake Cookie Dough Bars are a quick and satisfying dessert made with edible cookie dough and topped with rich chocolate. They’re perfect for a simple sweet fix—no oven required!
Ingredients
1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup granulated sugar
2 tbsp milk
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 cup all-purpose flour (heat-treated)
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 cup mini chocolate chips
Topping:
1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
1 tbsp coconut oil or butter
Instructions
1. Line an 8×8-inch pan with parchment paper.
2. In a bowl, cream together butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until light.
3. Mix in milk and vanilla extract.
4. Stir in heat-treated flour and salt until a soft dough forms.
5. Fold in mini chocolate chips. Press dough evenly into the pan.
6. Melt chocolate chips with coconut oil until smooth.
7. Pour and spread melted chocolate over dough.
8. Refrigerate 1 hour or until firm. Slice into bars and serve.
Notes
To heat-treat flour, microwave it in a bowl for 1 minute, stirring every 15 seconds, or bake at 350°F (175°C) for 5 minutes.
Store bars in the refrigerator for up to a week.
Use mini M&M’s or white chocolate chips for variety.
