SHRIMP ALFREDO PASTA

Introduction

Hey there! If you love pasta and shrimp, you’re going to enjoy this yummy Shrimp Alfredo Pasta. It’s creamy, rich, and full of flavor. The best part is, it’s pretty easy to whip up after a long day. Trust me, your taste buds will thank you!

Making this dish is always a little adventure for me. The first time I made it, I almost burned the garlic. But thankfully, I managed to save it, and from then on, I’ve always kept a close eye on it! Cooking is all about learning, right?

One kitchen tip I swear by is to have everything prepped and ready to go before you start cooking. Chopping the garlic and measuring the cream ahead of time makes the whole process smoother. You can focus on enjoying the cooking instead of running around!

As you cook, the smell of garlic and shrimp will fill your kitchen, making your mouth water. It’s such a simple pleasure. So grab your apron, and let’s make something delicious!

Ingredients

8 oz fettuccine pasta

2 tbsp olive oil

1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined

4 cloves garlic, minced

1 cup heavy cream

1 cup parmesan cheese, grated

Salt and pepper to taste

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Why You’ll Love This Recipe

This Shrimp Alfredo Pasta has a creamy texture that pairs perfectly with tender shrimp. It feels like a warm hug on your plate.

The flavor is a delightful mix of garlic and parmesan, with the shrimp adding a nice freshness. It’s comforting and satisfying.

This dish comes together quickly, making it a fantastic option for busy weeknights. You’ll be eating in no time.

Leftovers keep well in the fridge. Just warm them up, and you’ve got a ready-made meal for the next day.

How to Make

1. Cook fettuccine pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside, keeping some of the pasta water.

2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the shrimp and cook until they turn pink. Remove from skillet.

3. In the same skillet, add minced garlic and sauté for a minute until fragrant. Be careful not to burn it!

4. Pour in the heavy cream and bring it to a simmer. Mix in parmesan cheese until melted and smooth.

5. Add the cooked pasta and shrimp back into the skillet. Toss gently, adding pasta water if it’s too thick.

6. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Garnish with chopped parsley before serving.

What to Serve With

Garlic bread pairs nicely with Shrimp Alfredo Pasta. The bread helps scoop up any leftover sauce on your plate.

A simple side salad can balance the richness of the dish. Just some greens and a light vinaigrette work wonders.
